An Optimized and Efficient Routing Protocol Application for IoV

IoV is the latest application of VANET and alliance Internet IoT. With rapid progress in technology, people are searching for a traffic environment where they would have maximum collaboration with their surroundings which comprise other vehicles. It has become necessity to find such we less congestion, minimum chances vehicular collision, communication delay, fewer errors, greater message delivery ratio. For this purpose, ad hoc network (VANET) was devised vehicles were communicating each an infrastructureless environment. In VANET, communicate manner deliver messages, infotainment purposes or warning about emergency scenarios. Unmanned aerial vehicle- (UAV-) assisted one emerging fields nowadays. VANET’s routing efficiency, several protocols being used like optimized link state (OLSR) protocol, on-demand distance vector (AODV) destination-sequenced (DSDV) protocol. To meet need upcoming era artificial intelligence, researchers working improve route optimization problems VANETs by employing UAVs. The proposed system based on model involving interaction nodes (UAVs) efficient data better performance. Comparisons traditional UAV-based been made scenario vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communication. Later on, via studied same purpose. results generated through various simulations. After performing extensive simulations varying different parameters over grid sizes 300 × 1500 m 6000 m, it evident that although DSDV protocol performs 14% than drone-assisted (DA-DSDV) when number sinks equal 25, performance (DA-OLSR) 0.5% OLSR, whereas (DA-AODV) 22% AODV. Moreover, if increase up 50, can be clearly seen DA-AODV outperforms rest 60% (either protocol). addition, MAC/PHY overhead packet ratio, our variants also protocols.
